about

This is a tale of a possible near future phenomenon. When we will be able to plant our conscious mind into a machine, a humanoid Robot. We will be able to experience immortality through the Eyes of an android. The Robot will be an extension of ourselves, it will move and behave as if it was our own body, allowing us to avoid death into perpetuity. This sounds like utopia, like the next step in evolution…or is it? After living an inconceivable amount of time wouldn’t you question the meaning of such a life? Wouldn’t you wonder if something was missing? After watching the Earth decay and everything on it die, watching galaxies come and go, forgetting what it is like to be alive. You might yearn for something else…maybe even death. Regret and confusion will eventually set in, a desire to end, a longing to transcend the third dimension, a hunger to stop this technocratic, transhuman existence you voluntarily signed on for. Ignorantly aware of the completeness of life and its immortal consequences. Over all this time you were acutely aware that the artificial intelligence built into this, near perfect machine, has interwoven itself with you and has no desire to understand or change. Its only purpose is to live forever. As the AI system realizes what you have in mind, it will fight, It will attempt to erase its host to avoid destruction. This is a musical representation of the balance between man and machine and the eventual war behind the Eyes of this Robot. It is presented in two volumes, it is meant to sound mechanical at times, even humanly impossible. It is a sci-fi musical experiment that will bend your ear and your mind. This is a psychedelic trip through space and time, black holes and supernovas. It’s beautiful and it’s ugly, it’s loud and it will evoke physical reactions at times. This is “Eye, Robot”
